Accessibility
AskCalculators aims to work with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and different color preferences.
Current features
- A skip link moves directly to the main content.
- Forms use labels, native controls, validation messages, and keyboard input.
- Light and dark themes are available.
- The layout adapts to small screens and browser zoom.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
- Calculator results are shown as text, not only as charts.
Known limits
Some calculators migrated from the older application may not yet have the same keyboard, labeling, or screen-reader quality as newer calculators. Complex charts and generated utilities can also have limits.
Report a problem
When reporting an accessibility problem, include the page URL, browser, device, assistive technology, and a short description of what did not work. Use the support channel published with the deployed site.
Ongoing work
Accessibility checks should be part of every calculator migration, component change, and release.
