Editorial policy
Our aim is to make calculations understandable and reproducible: clear inputs, a stated method, useful references, and visible assumptions.
Review and attribution
Calculator team cards identify engineering and category responsibilities. A technical-check date records completed software checks for the release. A named professional approval requires that person's consent, relevant qualifications, reviewed scope and dated sign-off. Software tests and category assignments do not substitute for that approval.
Corrections and effective dates
Changed formulas receive a new version and targeted regression cases. Rules that depend on a country, jurisdiction or year should state those boundaries and cite the applicable source. We do not refresh historical review dates simply because the website was rebuilt.
Commercial independence
Payment must not change calculated answers or hide essential assumptions. Sponsored and affiliate links must be labelled beside the link. Commercial features remain inactive until the seller, disclosures, product and payment destination are configured.
