Manage your browser-local calculator data
AskCalculators stores substantial user data in the browser’s askcalculators IndexedDB database. There is no account or automatic cross-device synchronization. Shared links, exports and hosting request metadata have separate privacy implications; read the privacy policy.
Country preference
We remember your chosen country for one year in the askcalculators_country cookie. It contains only a country code, not your inputs or location.
Without a valid preference cookie, United States is the default and the country picker asks again. Changing countries does not redirect an open calculator or change its inputs.
History and retention
Drafts still save locally even when history is disabled. Use “Do not save this session” on a calculator to pause new calculator data saves in that tab.

Backup and transfer
Downloaded files replace cloud synchronization for a browser-only product.
Backup files may contain financial or health values. Store and share them carefully.
Delete local data
Deletion affects this browser only and cannot be undone without a downloaded backup. It does not remove downloaded files, browser URL history, shared links or other devices.
Local product measurement
Aggregate counters stay in this browser and never include calculator inputs or result values.
IndexedDB stores
Record counts update after imports and deletions.
