Description
The Cat Age Calculator helps you understand your feline friend’s life stage by converting their calendar age into a human equivalent. Cats age extremely rapidly in their first two years—by the time a cat is two years old, it is roughly equivalent to a 24-year-old human. After that, the rate slows down significantly. This tool uses the standard veterinary formula to give you a clear picture of your cat’s physical maturity.

“Good to Know”
- The Formula:
- The first year equals 15 human years.
- The second year adds 9 more years (total 24).
- Every year after that adds 4 human years.
- Longevity: Indoor cats living in healthy environments can often reach 15-20 years (76-96 in human years).
- Senior Status: Cats are generally considered “senior” once they reach the age of 11 (approx 60 human years).
