What this calculator does
Convert common cooking volume and weight units, including optional volume-to-weight conversion by density.
How it works
The calculator evaluates volume uses milliliters; mass uses grams; cross-dimension conversion uses mass = volume × density. Inputs are checked before calculation, and invalid values such as zero denominators or out-of-range selections produce a clear error instead of a misleading result.
Input query strings and outputs
Use an input name in this page’s URL as ?name=value, and join additional inputs with &. Portable shared links may instead use the compact ?ac= state parameter.

Inputs and results
The inputs are Amount, From unit, To unit, Ingredient density (g/mL). Results include Converted amount, Conversion basis.
Important notes
Cross-conversions between volume and weight are estimates that depend on the ingredient density entered.
