• Weighted Average: GPA is not just the average of your grades. An ‘A’ in a 4-credit science lab affects your GPA more than an ‘A’ in a 1-credit PE class.
• Standard Scale:
  • A: 4.0
  • B: 3.0
  • C: 2.0
  • D: 1.0
  • F: 0.0
• Pluses and Minuses: Most schools adjust points for plusses and minuses (e.g., an A- is 3.7 and a B+ is 3.3). This tool automatically includes those standard adjustments.
