Count significant figures and identify decimal-place precision in a written number.
How it works
The calculator evaluates leading zeros are not significant; zeros between nonzero digits are significant; trailing decimal zeros are significant. Inputs are checked before calculation, and invalid values such as zero denominators or out-of-range selections produce a clear error instead of a misleading result.
