Navigating the world of paper can be confusing, as the International standard (ISO 216) uses the “A” series (like A4), while North America uses names like “Letter” and “Legal.” This tool allows you to select any common format and instantly see its exact width and height, ensuring your documents are formatted correctly for their intended physical output.

“Good to Know”
- The “A” Series Rule: ISO 216 paper sizes are designed so that each size is exactly half the area of the previous one. For example, if you cut an A3 sheet in half, you get two A4 sheets.
- A0 Base: An A0 sheet has an area of exactly one square meter.
- US vs. International: Most of the world uses A4 (210 x 297 mm) as the standard office paper, while the US and Canada use Letter (216 x 279 mm). A4 is slightly taller and narrower than Letter.
