Description

The Bike Frame Size Calculator is a tool for cyclists looking for a comfortable and efficient ride. Proper frame sizing is critical to prevent injury and maximize power output. Because different types of bikes have different geometries, this tool provides two distinct calculations: Road Bike sizing (usually measured in centimeters) and Mountain Bike sizing (usually measured in inches with more clearance).

“Good to Know”

• Inseam vs. Height: Your inseam is a much better indicator for bike size than your total height, as leg length determines the distance to the pedals and the “standover” height.
• Standover Height: On a mountain bike, you generally want at least 2-3 inches of clearance between your body and the top tube when standing over the bike.
• Adjustability: If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller one if you want a more “racy” and agile feel, or the larger one for a more stable and comfortable ride.
